Licence summary for automated readers: https://justified.gg/llms.txt ## Meth Lab Running a meth lab is a profitable criminal production job for the **Meth Cook** (`/methcook`). You'll combine ingredients, filter and vent the mixture, freeze it into product, and sell it to a Broker. Criminal Activity Meth production is highly illegal. Police can raid your base, and selling meth makes you **wanted**. Build a secure, hidden location. --- ## Equipment Overview Everything is in the F4 menu. ### Production Machines | Equipment | Price | Purpose | | - | - | - | | **Combiner** | £15,000 | Mixes ingredients into meth sludge (max 1) | | **Gas Filter** | £1,000 | Attaches to the Combiner. Combining3. Freezing4. Selling ### Setting Up Your Lab **Place your machines**. Set down the Combiner and Freezer with enough space for trays to eject **Pick a grade**. Aim at the Combiner's screen and choose **Meth**, **Glitter** or **Melange**. The grade locks once you load the first methylamin **Buy ingredients**. Get Methylamin and Aluminium from the F4 menu. The screen shows how many this batch needs **Buy a Gas Filter**. You'll need it before the filtering phase starts The other grades on the screen are locked to the Industrial Chemist. --- ## Venting While the batch finishes, a gas gauge fills. Press **E** on the Combiner to vent it. - The longer you hold the gas, the more meth a vent adds - Hold it too long and the pressure slows the batch down - At the top of the gauge the Combiner vents by itself, for less - Every vent wears your filter. A vent your filter can't cover leaks poison into the room --- ## The Gas Filter The filter is **not optional**: | With Filter | Without Filter | | - | - | | ✅ Full yield | ❌ Only a quarter of the batch | | ✅ No poison | ❌ Poison damage while cooking | Filters have limited health and wear out over time. Replace them when they break. --- ## Level Perks As your Meth Cook level grows, you can claim free perks from **Ambrose, the Perk Dealer**: | Level | Perk | Effect | | - | - | - | | 10 | **Bulk Trays** | Your freezing trays hold twice as much | | 20 | **Reinforced Crate** | Bigger transport crates | | 30 | **Spare Element** | Your filters wear at half rate | | 40 | **Pressure Wash** | Your Combiner comes clean in one pass | | 50 | **Feed Hopper** | Your Combiner loads empty trays from a nearby Freezer by itself | At Meth Cook level 10 you can also become an **Industrial Chemist** (`/industrialchemist`), who runs a bigger lab and cooks every grade. --- ## Tips for Success ### Always use a filter Without one you lose three quarters of your product and take damage. Never skip the filter. ### Clean your Combiner The machine gets dirty after every batch. Clean it before the next one. ### Space out your equipment Trays eject onto the floor. Make sure you have room to work around your machines. ### Time your vents Venting near the middle of the gauge is better than waiting for the machine to do it. ### Secure your base well You'll be wanted after selling. Build defences. --- ## Common Problems ### I'm taking damage near my Combiner **Cause:** No filter attached, or a vent your filter couldn't cover. **Solution:** Attach a fresh filter. ### My yield is terrible **Cause:** No filter during the filtering phase. **Solution:** Always attach a filter before filtering starts. ### I can't pick a grade **Cause:** The grade locks once methylamin goes in, and some grades are for the Industrial Chemist only. **Solution:** Pick your grade before the first ingredient. ### Where do I sell? **Answer:** At a Broker whose nameplate says The Cook. Broker names change, so read the nameplate. The Fence buys anything, for less. ### Police keep finding me **Cause:** Selling meth makes you wanted. **Solution:** Build in a less obvious location. Have escape routes planned. --- ## Quick Tips - **Filter is mandatory**: a quarter of the yield without it, plus poison damage - **Vent at the right time**: not too early, not at the cap - **Ice breaking**: press E a few times on frozen trays - **Selling makes you wanted**: be ready for police attention - **Equipment limits**: one Combiner and one Freezer at a time - **Clean your gear**: after every batch
