## Heisenberg — Walter Hartwell White

Walter Hartwell White was a genius once. Co-founder of Gray Matter Technologies. But he left—took a $5,000 buyout while his partners built a billion-dollar empire without him. He spent twenty years teaching high school chemistry to teenagers who couldn't tell sodium chloride from table salt, watching his brilliance rot in a classroom that smelled like chalk dust and disappointment.

Then came the cancer.

Terminal. Inoperable. Eighteen months, the doctors said. And something in Walter White died before the disease could finish the job—the part that followed rules, that stayed small, that accepted being forgotten.

What was born was **Heisenberg.**

---

## The Story

He came to Ironhaven to disappear. The world thinks Walter White died in a shootout in New Mexico—a meth kingpin's bloody end, splashed across national news. Case closed. Body identified. Buried.

Except the body wasn't his.

Now he's a ghost walking the streets of a broken city, and old habits die hard. The underground labs in Industrial have seen a new cook—a man who wears wire-rimmed glasses and doesn't talk about his past. The meth coming out is blue. 99.1% pure. The kind of product that hasn't been seen since Albuquerque.

Word travels. Reputation finds you, even when you're supposed to be dead.

---

## What Drives Him

Walter White told himself it was about the money. About providing for his family before the cancer took him. He told himself he was desperate, cornered, left with no choice.

He was lying.

The empire wasn't built for his wife. Not for his children. It was built because Walter White spent his entire life being *invisible*—a genius dismissed, a potential squandered, a man who played by the rules and got nothing. The diagnosis didn't break him. It freed him.

Building an empire. Cooking the purest methamphetamine the world has ever seen. Being feared. Being *known*. That was never desperation.

That was him. Finally.

> \[!TIP] **In Ironhaven** He's supposed to be dead. New city. New identity. Same blue meth. Same empire to build. The question isn't whether he'll start again—it's who will stand in his way.
