Quests are goals that pay cash, Bits and XP. You start with a short guided set of first goals, then move on to the **Quest Board**, NPC orders and the Season pass. Open **Quests** in the Escape menu (Progress group).

Unless you hold MVP or Premium+, you need to be standing at the Quest Board NPC to open the board.

## Your First Goals

Mia Calloway is the guide. Two chains start on their own when you join, and the next ones arrive as you finish each. Your HUD tracker shows what to do next, and `/questhelp` repeats your current instructions in chat.

| Chain | What You Do | Pays |
| - | - | - |
| Welcome to Ironhaven | Find Mia and say hello | £5,000 |
| First Steps | Take a job from the F4 menu, claim the Street Special from Kits, get paid once, then kill one of the infected in the Sewers | £72,500 and 2 Bits |
| Meet the locals | Visit the Cosmetics vendor and the Market trader, collect a parcel from Mia, make your first Broker sale | £32,500 and 1 Bit |
| City Explorer | Discover 3 districts, then 5 more, then every district left | £122,500 and 3 Bits |

- City Explorer is a slow goal. It runs in the background while you do the others. Districts you found earlier already count.
- Walk into a district for the first time to discover it. The tunnels between districts don't count.
- You can ask Mia a question in chat with `/ask` followed by your question.

### Career Ladders

Every job has a **career ladder** that appears the first time you take that job. It pays £5,000 for taking the job, then 17 milestones of time spent working it, from 5 minutes up to one week. The cash is biggest near the end, and Bits start at the 2 hour milestone. Finishing the ladder pays £2,000,000 and 8 Bits.

### First-Time Milestones

Many jobs have a first-time chain for the job's real work: your first batch, harvest, delivery or arrest. Each step pays £10,000, and finishing the chain pays £50,000 and 2 Bits, once per account.

## The Quest Board

The board has four tabs: **Board** for your current quests, **Chains**, **Together** for the community goal and duo quests, and **Records** for achievements, history and the leaderboard.

| Quest Type | How many | Resets |
| - | - | - |
| Rotating | 3 | Finish one and a new one replaces it straight away |
| Daily | 3 | Midnight, server time |
| Weekly | 3 | Midnight on Monday, server time |
| Weekend event | 2 | Friday 18:00 to Sunday 23:59, server time |

The **Quest Tracker** on your HUD lists your live goals. Pin quests on the board to put them first. You can turn the tracker off, move it to the other side of the screen and change its height in the HUD section of the settings.

### Rewards

- Quests pay cash, Bits and sometimes XP. The Bits on a quest vary a little each time you finish one.
- Finish quests on consecutive days to build a **streak**. It adds to your cash rewards.

| Streak | Cash bonus |
| - | - |
| 3 days | +5% |
| 7 days | +10% |
| 14 days | +15% |
| 30 days | +25% |

- Your streak forgives one missed day in every 7.
- Quests pay 1.5 times the cash from Friday 18:00 through Sunday 23:59, and 1.25 times between midnight and 6am, server time. Both stack, so a weekend night pays 1.875 times.
- If a daily or weekly quest resets while you're at 75% or more of it, you still get 40% of its cash.

### Daily Bits Cap

Quests pay Bits in full up to 30 a day. After that they pay 25% of the Bits, up to 60 a day. Cash, XP and streaks aren't capped. Level-ups, achievements and community goals don't count towards the cap.

### Rerolling a Quest

You can reroll a rotating, daily or weekly quest you haven't finished. The board asks you to confirm.

- 5 rerolls a day. The first is free and each other costs 2 Bits.
- The count resets at midnight, server time.
- A quest you reroll away won't come back that day.
- The new quest comes from the same pool, so a reroll doesn't change how much you earn.

## NPC Orders

Two job NPCs hand out delivery orders. You need the job, and you need to have passed the first step of its first-time chain: Jack opens after your first bar and Marge after your first trash collection.

| NPC | Job | What You Bring |
| - | - | - |
| Jack the Miner | Retro Miner | Raw ore in your pickaxe, or metal bars |
| Marge Tipley | Trashman | Trash |

- Jack's offer is at least the listed minimum. If the brokers are paying more when you return, he raises it to beat them.
- You get two order slots. A third opens at a higher pickaxe level for Jack. For Marge it opens at the Trashman level that adds the surge.
- Your first three deliveries each day pay 2 Bits extra. Marge takes 12 deliveries a day.
- Decline an order and the next one arrives after 5 minutes, up to three times a day. After that a decline waits for the slot's normal timer.
- Each delivery earns reputation with the NPC, see [Reputation](https://justified.gg/wiki/progression/reputation).

## Community Goals

A server-wide goal is always running. Each lasts 2 hours 45 minutes, then a 15 minute break before the next. A banner above your ammo counter shows the goal's progress and countdown.

When the server hits the target, everyone who contributed gets paid by contribution:

| Your contribution | Cash | Bits |
| - | - | - |
| Top 10% | £250,000 | 2 |
| Next group, up to the top 25% | £120,000 | 1 |
| Everyone else who contributed | £45,000 | 0 |

The whole server also gets a booster for that goal's job, or for XP. The target grows with the number of players working on the goal, up to 40.

## The Season Pass

Season 1, **Fright Shift**, runs from 5 October until 30 November 2026. Open the **Season** tab in the Escape menu.

- The pass has 50 tiers in 10 chapters of 5. Every tier you reach gives a reward you claim in the tab.
- You earn season XP from half the XP you earn on your job ladders, from each daily, weekly and rotating quest you finish (250, 1,000 and 100 XP) and from season challenges.
- Tier 1 needs 1,000 XP and each tier asks 80 more than the last. After tier 50 you earn an encore reward every 6,000 XP.
- There are 30 season challenges, each worth 1,000 XP. Completing 10, 20 and 30 of them pays a milestone reward.
- **Premium** costs 990 Shards and adds a second reward on every tier. It pays back 600 Shards and about 300 Bits. Once bought, it's yours for good.
- Ranks and boosters don't speed up the pass.

Rewards include titles, kill cards, trails, accessories, pet skins, crates, Bits, Shards and weapons. Premium has its own reward on every tier, and at tier 50 you pick one of three.

Seasonal event chains such as Pumpkin Night show under **Happening** while their event runs.

## Quest Prestige

After you complete 1,000 quests you can **prestige** from the Quests menu, up to 5 times. Each prestige resets your completed-quest count and adds a permanent +2% to your quest cash rewards. Your streak, achievements and history stay.

---

## Tips

- Do your three daily quests every day. They keep your streak alive.
- Reroll a quest that needs something you can't do, such as a job you don't play.
- Work a new job for a few minutes to bank its first career milestone.
- Finish the Bits you want from quests before the 30 a day line, because past it they pay a quarter.
