See [Money](https://justified.gg/wiki/economy/money). ### Why is my paycheck smaller than the job's salary? Idle time, district tax and a fresh job change all cut it. The payslip lists each cut. See [Money](https://justified.gg/wiki/economy/money). ### Why won't a merchant buy my meth? Merchants buy gathered materials. Drugs and finished product go to a [Broker](https://justified.gg/wiki/economy/broker). ### Why did my Broker sale get cancelled? You moved too far from the broker, died, got arrested or changed job. See [Broker](https://justified.gg/wiki/economy/broker). ### Why can't I use the Bazaar? Reach Character level 7 first. See [Marketplace](https://justified.gg/wiki/economy/marketplace). ### Can I trade items with another player? Not right now. Player trading is switched off, so use the [Marketplace](https://justified.gg/wiki/economy/marketplace) instead. ## Items and Crafting ### Why is a recipe locked? You haven't reached the collection tier it names. Open the Collections tab to see how far along you are. See [Crafting](https://justified.gg/wiki/items/crafting). ### Can I craft from a sack? Yes. The table spends your inventory first and then your sacks. ### My gun says Broken. Is it gone? No. It's in your bag and the Anvil mends it. Quick Sell pays nothing for a broken gun, so repair it first. See [Anvil](https://justified.gg/wiki/items/anvil). ### Why does my gun have no lives? Guns from Holt and crafted gear have none. Upgrade a Holt gun at the Anvil to give it 3. See [Gun Lives](https://justified.gg/wiki/items/anvil#gun-lives). ### Why won't my Ring go into the Accessory Bag? The bag takes one accessory per line. If its Talisman is already inside, drop the Ring on top of the Talisman and they swap. See [Accessories](https://justified.gg/wiki/items/accessories). ### Do accessories in my main inventory count? They keep their own perks, but they add no Accessory Power or stats. Put them in the bag. ### Why does my sack not take anything? Check that it's in your main inventory or Sack of Sacks, and that the sack type holds that material. Its card lists what it stores. A Booster Cookie opens it anywhere with `/etable`. See [Enchanting](https://justified.gg/wiki/items/enchanting). ## Progress ### Do I lose my job level if I switch jobs? No. Every ladder is saved to your account. See [Skills](https://justified.gg/wiki/progression/skills). ### Why can't I take a job? Check the level it needs in the F4 menu. It may want a Character level or a level on another job's ladder. See [Leveling](https://justified.gg/wiki/progression/leveling). ### Why can't I open the Collections tab? It opens once you've picked up your first collection item or found your first Bestiary creature. See [Collections](https://justified.gg/wiki/progression/collections). ### Do I get collection credit for buying an item? No. Only items you pick up yourself count. See [Collections](https://justified.gg/wiki/progression/collections). ### Why does my pet get no XP while I'm doing a job? That job isn't in your pet's skill. Check the line on the pet's menu. See [Pet Leveling](https://justified.gg/wiki/pets/leveling). ## The Sewers and Combat ### Why aren't the infected attacking me? You're either a new player (under 12 hours of playtime), in a passive district, or on a kin job like Sewer Dweller. Hurting one of them breaks it, except for kin jobs, who get hunted for 2 minutes instead. See [The Sewers](https://justified.gg/wiki/pve/sewers). ### Why don't my stats work on players? Strength, Crit, Ferocity and Defense work against the infected. Health and Speed work against everything. See [Slayer](https://justified.gg/wiki/pve/slayer). ## Groups ### Can I be in a party and a gang? Yes. They don't affect each other.
