What Ironhaven actually is.
Ironhaven is twelve districts and the people who own them.
Downtown takes a cut. Industrial is kept cheap so someone still builds there. The Hood and the Sewers take nothing, which is why the work happens there. A mayor sets those numbers. When they call a lockdown, nobody moves.
Bloods and Crips take a street in two minutes. Holding it is what scores. Rent comes due whether you are online or not. At the end of the month the board wipes, and last month's king has a screenshot.
IPD run the cells. Police is the first badge you earn. SWAT breach the doors patrol will not touch. Overwatch is the one you never see.
There is a vault in the bank. You pick it, you carry the bags, you get slower, and someone is already coming. There is a payphone if you would rather put a name on a contract.
Your gun is not their gun. It wears down. It keeps a confirmed kill count. People will try to take it.
The city does not care who you were.
