Firework Maker

Firework Maker (/fireworkmaker) is a production job where you run a machine that turns paper and black powder into firework packs. Simple setup, steady profit, and satisfying to watch.

Getting Started

Buy the Machine

Buy the Firework Machine (£5,000) from the F4 menu. You can only have one.

Fit the Parts

A new machine is bare. From its menu, buy each of its four parts and bolt them in.

Buy Ingredients

You need Paper (£1,000) and BlackPowder (£1,000) to keep the machine running.

Buy a Box

Get a Box (£100) to collect the finished fireworks.

Load the Machine

Touch the paper and black powder to the machine to fill it.

Start Production

Press Start on the machine's screen. Watch it go!

How It Works

StageWhat Happens
LoadingTouch ingredients to the machine to fill it
ProductionThe machine rolls tubes, loads them, binds the pack and charges it with powder
OutputFirework packs come out of the machine
PackingPut the packs into a Box, 8 to a box
SellingTake full boxes to the Broker

Box Your Packs

The machine stops when 8 unboxed packs are waiting. Come back and box them to keep it running.

Machine Parts

The machine has four parts, and each one speeds up a different stage:

PartStage
Tube RollerRolls paper into tubes
Tube LoaderLoads tubes into the pack
Cake BinderBinds the pack
Powder ChargerFills the pack with powder

Upgrade each part from the machine's menu. The menu tells you which part is slowing you down. Once a part is maxed, you can overclock it for more speed, but it wears out faster.

Wear and Repair

Parts wear down as they work. A well-kept part runs a little faster, a worn one runs slower, and a part at 0% jams and stops its stage. Repair a part from the machine's menu by tightening its bolts with a wrench.

Firework Types

Pick what the machine makes. New types unlock with your Firework Maker level:

TypeLevel
Firework1
Bangers3
Sparkler String5
Roman Candle10
Golden Fountain18
Crossette26
Peony Shell35
Willow Cake45
Grand Finale55

Small packs are quicker to make but fill your boxes faster. Big packs are worth more per box.

Collecting & Storing Fireworks

MethodHow It Works
Physical BoxPacks go into the box (holds 8). Carry the box to transport it.
Carried StockPress E on a box to pick its packs up as carried stock. The box is used up.

Death Warning

If you die, your carried stock is lost. Carry physical boxes if you can, or sell often.

Selling

Take your fireworks to The Smelter, the Broker that buys fireworks. Broker names change, so read the nameplate. The Fence buys anything, for less.

  • The Broker counts your carried stock AND boxes near you
  • Each Broker's rate moves over time
  • Every rank gets the same price

There are three paid versions of the job: Pro, Expert and Veteran Firework Maker. They give you a reserved slot and a higher salary.
