A collection counts how much of one item you've picked up. Fill its tiers to earn Character XP and Bits, and some tiers unlock things you can buy or use. Open the Escape menu, then Progress, then Collections.
How It Works
- Each item you pick up from a drop, a job or a kill adds to that item's collection. Buying from a shop or trader, trading with a player and the Bazaar don't count.
- The first time you find an item its collection unlocks, and a message tells you so.
- Collections are grouped into categories: Farming, Mining, Combat, Fishing, Junk, Slayer, Apex and Pets.
- Locked collections still show in the menu, so you can see what's out there.
- Counts keep going after the last tier.
Tier Rewards
Tiers are numbered with Roman numerals (I, II, III and so on). Every collection sets its own amounts for each numeral.
| Reward | Amount |
|---|---|
| Character XP | 10 times the numeral: tier I pays 10, tier II pays 20, tier III pays 30 |
| Bits | 3 at the middle numeral and 5 at the last |
Each reward pays once. A collection with a single tier pays the 5 Bits. When you cross several tiers at once you get all of them.
What Tiers Unlock
Some tiers open an item in a trader's shop or a bigger slot count. The tables below list the unlocks under each collection. For example, the Accessory Bag grows as you fill Redstone Dust, and some Maddox's Supplies sacks open at the first tier of the matching collection.
Extra Collection Books
The Collections tab also has two categories of its own, with one tile per entry.
- Medic: a casebook of the cases you've treated.
- Specimens: the creatures you've sampled as a Genetic Researcher.
Open the Bestiary from the same part of the menu to track every creature you've killed.

Tips
- Open the menu after a session. Each tile shows your count and how far the next tier is.
- Stay on a job or a hunt that drops the item you want, because only items you pick up count.
- Check the unlock lines before you chase a collection. Bigger Accessory Bag slot counts come from Redstone Dust.
FAQ
Do I get credit for buying an item?
No. Only items you pick up yourself count.
Do I lose tiers if I sell or use the item?
No. The count only goes up.
Why can't I open the Collections tab?
It opens once you've picked up your first collection item or found your first Bestiary creature.
Where do I see what a tier unlocks?
On the tier in the menu, and in the tables on this page.
