You get pets four ways: buy them from Zog, hatch an egg, find one as a creature drop, or trade materials to Zog for one. Every pet arrives as an item in your inventory. Use it to add the pet to your Pets menu.

Zog, Kat and George all stand in Downtown, near each other.

Zog's Traveling Zoo

Zog's pet tab is the Traveling Zoo. It shows eight pets at a time and refreshes every 2 hours.

  • Each pet is a different species, so you won't see the same one twice in a visit.
  • Every pet you buy raises that offer's price by 10% until the next visit.
  • Common pets cost about £1,000,000. Higher rarities cost more.
  • Many pets need a skill level before Zog sells them, like Foraging 3 for the Dog or Combat 10 for the Phoenix.
  • Colour variants cost half again the price of the base pet.

Zog also sells pet items, candy, Age-Up Potions and pet skins. They stay in stock all the time. See Pet Items, Candy and Upgrades.

Pets for Materials

The Zombie Torso pet isn't sold for cash. Zog trades it for 64 Rotten Flesh once you're Combat level 3.

Eggs

Some pets come as an egg that has to hatch. You use the egg from your inventory to add it to the Pets menu. An egg has no stats, no abilities and can't hold an item until it hatches.

The Walking Egg

Summon the Antlion Egg and walk. Only your own feet count, and vehicles don't. At each distance it has a 50% chance to hatch into a pet of that rarity. If it doesn't hatch, it becomes a rarer egg.

The Pets menu shows how far you've walked.

Levelling Eggs

The Antlion Guard Egg and the three Drake Eggs hatch at level 100. Level them like any pet. Everyone sees a message when an Epic or better pet hatches.

Creature Drops

These pets only drop. Each item's note says where it comes from and shows the odds.

Magic Find and Pet Luck raise your odds. A dropped pet is sometimes its colour variant.

Selling to George

George buys spare pets for fixed prices. First convert the pet to an item in the Pets menu, then sell the item to George. He pays up to £53,000,000 a day in total.

PetCommonEpicLegendary
Dog£180,000
Tiger£720,000£6,200,000£18,000,000
Lion£720,000£6,200,000£18,000,000
Phoenix£1,500,000£5,400,000

George buys colour variants for 1.25 times the base pet's price. He doesn't buy eggs.

Tips

  • Buy a Common first and level it. A Common gets you the stats and Kat can raise it later.
  • Check the zoo every two hours for Legendaries you want.
  • Keep an eye on the skill gate. It's usually the thing between you and a pet.

FAQ

The zoo has no Legendary I want. Now what?

Wait for the next visit. It refreshes every 2 hours and the same Legendary comes round about once a day.

Can I buy a pet I already own?

You can, but a lower or equal rarity is refused when you use it. George buys spares.

Does a pet from the zoo come with a level?

No. A new pet starts at level 1. Use it from your inventory and level it up.
