The crafting table turns raw drops into Enchanted materials, accessories, backpacks and a few pieces of gear. Press Esc, open the Inventory section and pick the Crafting tab. It has two modes, the Workbench for recipes and the Anvil for guns.

How It Works

Pick a recipe. The book on the left sorts every recipe into Ready, Missing materials and Locked. Use the category buttons or the search box to narrow it down.

Check the grid. The 3x3 grid shows what the recipe takes. Your count of each material sits next to it.

Set an amount. You can craft several at once: up to 64 crafts, or as many as fit in one stack of the result, whichever is lower.

Hold Craft. Hold the button until the parts fly into the result. The crafted item lands in your inventory.

Materials come out of your inventory first, then out of your sacks. You don't have to empty a sack to craft with what's in it. If your inventory is full when the craft finishes, the item waits for you instead of vanishing.

Recipe Status

StatusWhat it means
ReadyYou hold every material.
Missing materialsThe recipe is unlocked but you're short. The tile says what you lack.
LockedYou haven't earned the recipe yet. The tile says what opens it.

Locked recipes stay in the book so you can see what to work toward.

Unlocking Recipes

Recipes unlock through collections. Reach the tier a recipe names and it opens for good. A tile reads something like "Iron Ingot Collection II" or "Leather Collection VII". A few accessory recipes ask for a Slayer level instead, such as Zombie Slayer III, and some are open from the start.

Collections fill as you find items. Crafting doesn't add to them.

Quick Craft

Above the book, Quick Craft shows the three most valuable things you can make right now. Click one and the table selects that recipe and sets the amount to the most your materials allow. Then hold Craft.

Enchanted Materials

An Enchanted material is a big stack of one common drop pressed into a single item. It takes 160 of the base material, except Hard Stone, which takes 576. The recipe unlocks at Collection II of the base item.

  • An Enchanted material is one rarity above its base.
  • Merchants buy one for 160 times what they pay for the base (576 for Hard Stone).
  • Crafting one doesn't count toward any collection.
  • The grid shows five stacks of 32 in a plus shape, which is just how the table draws 160.

Enchanted materials are what the Anvil charges for its upgrades.

The full table is for players signed in to the wiki. Each item's details and recipe are on its own page, e.g. Leather; search for an item by name to find it.

Accessories

Accessories that cost materials only can be crafted at the table. A lower tier sits in the centre of the grid and the new tier is built around it, so you make a Ring from a Talisman and an Artifact from a Ring.

Backpacks

Backpacks follow the same pattern: the smaller bag goes in the middle. A backpack craft makes one at a time.

Gear

Five pieces of gear are made at the table. Each one is a weapon item that goes in your weapon slots, and none of them has lives, so you lose one if you die with it equipped. The syringe stacks and is used up on use.

Tips

  • Check a locked recipe's tile before you stockpile. It names the collection tier you need.
  • An Enchanted material is one item, so it takes far less room than the 160 it's made from.
  • Quick Craft is the fast way to turn a full bag into the most valuable thing you can make.

FAQ

Why is a recipe greyed out and locked?

You haven't reached the collection tier it names. Open the Collections tab to see how far along you are.

Can I craft from a sack?

Yes. The table spends your inventory first and then your sacks.

What happens if my inventory is full?

The craft still goes through and the item waits until you have room. Nothing is lost.

Do crafted weapons have lives?

No. The five gear weapons are lost on death like any gun without lives. See Gun Lives.

Where do I upgrade or repair a gun?

On the Anvil mode of the same screen. See Anvil.
