September 24 Update

Smoother frames across the city and steadier TVs

A big performance pass and a round of fixes.

Performance

  • Smoother frames: Jobs, machines, weapons, the HUD and menus do less work every frame, across almost the whole server.

Media player

  • In sync: TVs follow the server's play and pause.
  • Cleaner picture: YouTube's own control bar is hidden on TVs.

Fixes

  • AFK players: No longer show up on the killfeed or join line.
  • Panic button: /panic works straight away after a server update.
  • Secret packages: Drop when the carrier dies or leaves.
  • Pets: Fixed pets standing still instead of following you.
